My husband and I are longing to adopt another baby. We have a son we adopted almost 9 years ago at birth and he
very much wants a baby brother or sister to grow up with. He prays every night that God will send him a sibling.
Thank you Tracy for introducing us to your website. We are currently getting geared up for our homestudy in a few
weeks. We've had to take a series of classes before getting to the homestudy. We are excited to get one step closer.
We have 2 biological children. A daughter age 5 & son age 3. They are so excited to adopt a baby. Everyday
they ask when we will get their brother or sister. We want to have a large family and fill all the rooms in our houses.
We have a lot more love to give. We are so fortunate to have freedom in our careers which allow us a lot of time to
travel and play. We own a landscape company in Central Oregon and only work 6-8 months a year. Well, Mike works,
I am at home with the kids having fun. We have strong ties to the South particularily Texas. Mikes entire family
lives there and we travel back at least 1 time per year but usually 2. We are thinking about living in TX part-time
during the winter. We just haven't found the per! fect house on a lake. It has to be next to Mikes family.
We are really close to both sides of our family.
We are choosing adoptions because this was always part of our parenting
plan. Everyone has known we would have biological and adopted children. We are so excited to be starting this
journey and can't wait to bring our new baby home to love and hug on. We all already love this baby that we have not
met and can't wait until the day we get him/her in our arms and home forever.
If you want any more info about us go

mothers day! shantae@bendbroadband.com
Just wanted to say hello, and introduce ourselves Jim and I have been married for almost 17 years.
We have been foster parents for 8 years and have had the privilage of caring for almost 2 dozen children. We had hoped
to adopt a child thru the foster system where the need seemed to be the greatest, however that never happend and our hearts
were crushed each time a child left. Anyway, during our journey to complete our 4everfamily we met 2 wonderful children
Michael and Tammy they were 4 and 6 when they came to us. they are now 9 and 11. Life is wonderful, and fun, with boy
and girl scouts and football practice as well as cheerleading. The children play the trombone and the flute and
love to take horseback riding lessons. We love the beach and being outdoors We are an active family and the kids
even got Jim and I to take a karate class. Its a lot of fun and great exercise. As I said life is great, however,
we always wanted a big family and hope that thr! u adoption we can fulfill our dream and have that big family. Michael
and Tammy would love to have alittle brother or sister or both. if you would like to get to find out more about us email me
at 4everfamily@optonline.net or visit our webpage at www.cafemom.com/home/4everfamily

Hello, My name is Michelle, i am a birth mom and an adoptee. My daughter Megan, and my birth son, name by birth Joshua,
share the same father. He died not to long ago and it has been very hard on me. At one time, he was my best friend. My first
child was Megan. She was not planned and he was a terrible alcoholic,so i decided to put her up for adoption. Well, after
her being at catholic charities for 8 days, i changed my mind. I went and picked her up. Then, her Father sobered up, and
I wanted to have another baby, well, i ended up pregnant again, but by this time, he was already drinking again. He had put
my life, Megans life and the life of my unborn baby in danger. That is when i knew he would never stop. And i was right,
he never stopped and he died. But after i left him, i ended up with nothing. So I went to save-a-life, and exspained everything,
and that is when we decided on adoption for my 2nd child. I used to have no regrets, but now what i regret is not having an
open adoption. My birth son will 18 in 1 year and 1/2. I hope he looks for me, because there has not been a day that i havn't
thought about him, and i have and always will; love him. Well, thats about it except that i have been reunited with ALL of
my birth family since 1993-94. And it has been a blessing. love and peace, Michelle Weatherby

Hi Everyone, My name is christine and i'm a new member here. I had a baby boy May 23 of this past year and he was
with me for 8 weeks before I realized that due to several mental disorders I did not want him to live thru what I was livign
thru. Even with medication life is a struggle. Micah went to live with a wonderful family. I chose open adoption and I'm so
glad I did. There are times I regret the decision but I also think that I would regret even more not allowing micah to grow
up in a stable loving family. This is such a healing process and I'm now trying to make time my friend. I'm waiting for the
day I will wake up and say "I'm going to be ok". I know that will come and have to be patient. My brother told me this when
he heard I had place micah for adoption"christine,I cannot think of any other word to describe just what kind of person you
are to have done this and that word stands out above all other words, you are special".I now realize just how special I'!
m to have done this. I hope that all the birthmothers who read this will realize just how"Special" you are. clambert05@yahoo.com

Hello everyone! I wanted to let all of you know that I started a new group to help birthmothers and potential adoptive
parents who want to pursue PRIVATE adoption. It has seems there are not enough places for the two parties to meet. Anyway,
if you would to join or just check it out, you can go to adoption_connections in yahoo groups. Members will be screened
because the site is not ment for adoption agencies or facilitators. I hope to see some of you there. lorn_23@yahoo.com

comment: Hi everyone, I am a birthmother and an adoptee, so i do know how both ends feel. I am now 41, my birthson will be
16 june 25th. Hopefully we will reunite and i can introduce him to MY birth family. I found them over 10 years ago and it
was a blissfull reunion. It had it's difficult moments, but they were all surpassed by our growing love for one another. Not
all reunions work out as everyone knows, but I was one of the lucky ones, and Gods hand in all of this was evident. I have
a very large birth family(CATHOLICS) lol. They LOVE to reproduce, lol. I had a very tough life growing up and spent 9 years
in therapy. I have since overcome all the hard ships that came my way. Giving up my child was not difficult for me like it
is for most Mothers. I knew that the decision i was making was the right one, and I also knew, that I HAD to do it to ensure
his safty, and my daughters. She was little at the time and in order to take proper care of her, i knew that i had to do it.
!
Making the right decision brought me peace. I live life to the fullest, and i am bubbly, happy, a peacemaker, but i am also
a person that will now take any bull off anyone, and therefore I ALWAYS stand by my friends. I wish love and happiness to
you all, and if anyone wants to chat, feel free to e-mail me. I'm just a down home girl from Alabama, much love and peace,
Michelle
